I was given the task from our Board to run Trivia on one of the quieter evenings of the club, to see if we could boost revenue. We run it throughout the entire bottom floor of our club, so they don’t need to be in one place, and kids can also be involved. Our trivia nights have boosted our Bistro and Bar revenue on a Tuesday night by 25-30%. Sometimes more. We now have a regular 15 teams attending. Teams vary from 4 people right up to 10 people. You don’t need to be a radio announcer; you just need someone who is comfortable to talk into a microphone. It is now a great fun night to be had.
